Being my True Self!

Sometimes we lose awareness of who we are being... We just go with the flow, without recognizing "who we can be"...

I was doing a lot of things... growth was coming along the way... but there was something missing... success and progress seemed hollow... when i stopped and checked with my inner self... realized... i was not being my true self...

while this may seem vague to you as you read... it just makes me feel free... you gotta experience to know what i'm saying... "Being your True self" allows you to access a zone wherein you feel all powerful, there is so much clarity and connect with the vision... and the gut screams out decisions that shape the trajectory for success... being my true self allows me to act with courage.. it frees me from fear... I can now smile at my fears and say "Bring it on" while I take it head on to achieve my dream...

wow.... i salute the heroes... what was Martin Luther King thinking when he said "I have a Dream"... simple words but so powerful... what was Gandhi thinking when he defied oppression and walked to Dandi to make salt... what was Mandela thinking when he said we deserve freedom... man... these men lived their True Self.... and each one of us can... that's the beauty...

Vision - See and Be

I have a story to tell... the last 30 days have been an experience I shall value for life... its reaffirmed my belief in possibility thinking... m in the 3rd year of my first venture... a crucial one both personally n professionally... we as a team set a goal at the beginning of the financial year with our hopes, dreams and aspirations on the line... the first 2 years were what we called "Lessons"... we made our mistakes... worked on a "Fail Fast strategy" and chose this year as the year where we will finally "settle"... well "settle" is the last word in entrepreneurship... i know organizations that "settled" and then never woke up...

30 days back we reviewed our annual goal... the review ended with a feeling of we have to learn more "lessons"... i left the meet feeling low... questioning myself, questioning our team, our business and our strategy.... i was beginning to sulk... but decided to play a game... a game to live the Vision... The Vision to believe in the limitlessness of Human Potential... every morning I woke up to that vision... lived through the day staying connected to the belief that I gotta win the game in the head first to win it outside in reality...

The Vision was the fuel... and 30 days since I chose to live that vision... I see possibility... Possibility to win.. to play... to achieve that goal... to achieve the aspirations set out and to go beyond...

Status 30 days back: Goal status - 20% achieved using 75% of the timeline. Probability to achieve the Goal - NIL.

Status as on date: 25% time left for the time line - 90% probability to achieve the Goal, 1 new Business Venture, 1 Acquisition and 3 new Business opportunities I am definitely going to be tapping into in the coming year... hahaha... magical...

The Lesson - Living the Vision. Truly living it. It comes alive in the toughest of times...

Vision - The Power to "see" when nobody else can and "be" what you truly are - Limitless...

Glass ceilings...

Have you ever noticed a Glass Ceiling... I find them fascinating... its deceptive... you can see the sky through it but you can't touch the sky...

We all have glass ceilings... In situations we encounter there is always this hope of we can reach our goals as we can see it.. but somehow we fall short... you know why? because there is a glass ceiling above you... in your head... a blind spot... that you can't see... but it stops you... it limits the way you play the game.. and blinds you to live in the deception of you are the one... you will make it... you are right...

but if you are not getting what you want then there is something that is stopping you... stopping you either from playing the game or from being flexible in your approach...

step back as you read.. and just allow yourself to get aware.. what is your glass ceiling about yourself, about people, about success, about performance, about your dreams...

remember... you may feel you are right.. but if you are not effective then you are definitely not right... glass ceilings are deceptive... catch them... breakthrough....

Questions are actually the Answers....

Ideas Ideas and more Business Ideas... It's funny... when you ask a question, you always get an answer but we sometimes don't even ask the question... i asked how will 100 Business Ventures be possible in 15 years and I got so many answers... what questions are you not asking? what question would you like to find the answer to?

Idealism or Realism... time will tell!

We all Dream... We all Visualize ourselves as who we will be or become as we are Growing up... Most people end up in a rat race because they let go of the Vision of who they Can be.. They live Compromised Realities and believe that's who they are...

I always told my friends in College... We have One Life... How can we not Live our Dream? My Brain did not Understand the concept of not pursuing our Dreams... I just couldn't make sense of How or Why would we as People sabotage our One Life with a compromised limited Reality of Who we are and What we can be...

I started my journey at the age of 20 with kick starting Quantum Leap - A Performance Coaching Company... But today as I write this blog, I want to share why have I created this expansive possibility of Starting a 100 Business Ventures in the next 15 years...

I have always been clear that I want to be an Entrepreneur for the experience of it... I also know that I have extravagant aspirations for my own life and my family as an Entrepreneur.... But while I am so clear of who I want to be, I had a Value-Conflict within myself about betraying my Own Core Value of Integrity and being Hippocratic if I built my castles on the blood of my team members... I hate to use the word employees as I don't believe that they are Employees... I have a team of about 35 people... and I am very clear that I want each and everyone of them to be an Entrepreneur... at the same time I was insecure that if each one became an Entrepreneur then how would my company grow... how would we sustain...

I had a choice... lie to myself that i believe in entrepreneurship and I stand for it and continue to "employ people to work for me" or to start a 100 business ventures in 15 years and make every team member a Partner in this journey of Exploring Dreams... Dreams that include their Vision of self, their Vision of their Families, their Vision of their Aspirations... The Goal of starting 100 Business Ventures by 2025 for me is a Celebration of Togetherness, Celebration of Dreams, Celebration of Character... I can see it... It's alive for me... Can you? Or do you feel its too idealistic? I don't care... I take a stand for it...

Why "My first 100 Business Ventures"?

I started my journey as an Entrepreneur in my Mother's womb. Growing up I saw my dad toiling it out every single day and building s Business out of nothing. I remember... there was a time he earned Rs.100/- per day... but what I learnt from him was that he "Earned it... earned it all by himself out of nothing".

That's what excited me about being an Entrepreneur. Today I am the Managing Director of Quantum Leap... a dream that I saw along with my partner Lokesh Jain 3 years back.. We started from nothing too... No Funding, No Capital (some pocket money), No Real Designed Product, No Business Plan, No Large Team, No Great Contacts, No Glamorous Degrees or MBA's, No prior Experience, No Family Backing and all the NO's that there could be... but what we had with ourselves was a Dream... (hahaha... sounds corny... but its true... I was just 20 years of age back then...)

Today after 3 years, Entrepreneurship is a Mission, its a Way of Life... After growing my business over the last 3 years with great Achievements, Client Success Stories, a Team to Die for, Exponential Growth, Market Capturing, Client Delights, Innovative Services etc I suddenly asked myself... "What next?"

And at the age of 23, I felt a little frightened when I realized that I wanted something more apart from what I already have... something that calls me to cause a Leap in my life, everyday... after months of exploring, hours of getting coached, days and nights of introspection... I realized that there was one thing that gave me a kick... there was just one thing that I would not mind doing over and over again, every single day of my life... and that was Being an Entrepreneur... For me Entrepreneurship is a way of Being, its a context, its a powerful emotion... its truly exploring limitless potential... inside me... outside me... everywhere...

The Future that I have created for myself is to start 100 Business Ventures in the next 15 years... yeah you read it right... 100 Business Ventures in 15 years... this is the foundation of my existence now... And I invite you to partner with me in this journey... Be my Co-Traveler... Explore this crazy goal... Explore the Madness, the Action, the Dream and the Thoughts that shall form the Ingredients of this Future...
